Sunny Zorro – King of Venice

“Sunny Zorro – The King of Venice” – A 15-song collection of blues and folk music plus some poetry all written and performed solo by Sunny Zorro an artist who in 1969 moved from New York City to Venice Beach, California. The Hollywood dream was not what attracted him there, instead he identified with the local artists and their desire to embrace the uncommon. Sunny mostly slept outside and sometimes in an inoperable car, never far from his large cart filled with everyday necessities and personal treasures. Everyone knew Sunny and eventually embraced him as “The King of Venice”. He could often be found on or near the boardwalk holding court, if you will, with the other local artists. Sunny recently passed on and this never released CD recorded 15 years ago is a highy unique and rare collection from this virtually unkown artists.
