Mount St. Helen


Mount St. Helen is a very talented trio from the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles.

Both good friends and neighbors, the group consists of Michael Marquesen on lead vocals, guitar and Rhodes. Io Perry plays the bass and adds background vocals. And last but not least, Scott Matz is on the drums.

Mount St. Helen came into The Hen House and laid down just about every track in one take, evoking powerful sense memories and stirring up long-subsided emotions.

Scott and Io weave together a wonderful foundation for Michael’s lyrics of past loves and future dreams. His singing style and liquid tones are unique and very, very addictive to the ears. Enjoy the sound explosion of Mount St. Helen.
