Gene Bowen with John Densmore

Friends Gene Bowen and John Densmore recently joined forces to lay down a few songs at The Hen House. Bowen had written the songs many years ago and was very excited to finally bring them to life. With Densmore, formerly of The Doors, on the drums, Jimmy Hazz on the bass and Art Ellis on the soprano saxophone, Bowen had all the necessary pieces in place to create three classic songs. Bowen plays the guitar as well as sings his very inspiring and thought-provoking lyrics. Their music will take you back a few decades and remind you of a time when songs were like poems, full of heart and soul. The Hen House enjoyed the journey and so will you.
