Fan Fiction
| Fan Fiction is an original four-piece rock band based out of Los Angeles, CA recently heard on Nickelodeon’s South of Nowhere. Drawing inspiration from guitar driven rock music from its origins up to modern times, Fan Fiction blends straight-laced alt rock with the angular sounds and energy of post-punk and post-hardcore, while retaining a distinct knowledge of 60’s classic rock. It’s a formula that comes together to form a unique and dynamic body of music that features strong, seductive vocals and hard-edged but melodic guitars in a tight range of sub-styles. It’s a sound that grabs your attention immediately and reveals more gifts as time goes on. |

Fan Fiction appear on “Hen House Studios Anthology 4″ (CD) The fourth installment of four from our Hen House compilation series featuring bands from in and around southern California who recorded in our studio for free in exchange for the right to be filmed. Highlighted on this CD are Fan Fiction, Badfish, Boom Shaka and Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarak with poet Michael C Ford.

Fan Fiction appears in the Documentary Film “Welcome 2 The Hen House” (DVD)In 2000 Hen House Studios opened its doors in Venice, CA, announcing they would be recording independent bands for free, well kind of, the recording time was free and in exchange the sessions along with out of the studio encounters would be filmed. CD compilations were made as well as a music doc short for each band which is posted on their frequently visited website.
