New Web Site!

After much struggle and strife we have finally revamped the site. There are many new features and improved user abilities. Our personal favorite is just under way and is worth checking out. Its a new mp3 download payment system where you pay what you want (or nothing at all) for selected Hen House Studios songs.

For all you artists out there - Some of you might notice that not all Hen House artists are presently listed on the site. Please do not worry as we are adding artists everyday and will complete the job shortly. There are presently over 100 bands that have recorded at the Hen House!

If you have any advice, comments, suggestions or notice any problems please contact us and let us know. The site is rather large and there are bound to be some kinks. Those of you new to the site, best to start here.

We Won a Native America Music Award

Hen House Studios is happy to announce that our CD entitled “Floyd Red Crow Westerman – A Tribute to Johnny Cash” won the prestigious “Native American Music Award”. Our only regret is that we didn’t have the time to attend the awards in Niagara Falls, New York. Here is what Kris Kristofferson wrote about the CD: “I Think Johnny Cash would be especially proud of this tribute album. Not just because of his high regard for Floyd Red Crow Westerman or his own life-long identification with Native Americans and commitment to their cause, but because it is such a respectful, loving portrayal of the man’s work. Floyd’s deep, powerful voice resonates with the truth. I had no idea he could sound so much like John.”
